Preparation and Submission of Final Manuscript of Your Paper Complying with IEEE Xplore Requirements

Deadline for Submission of Final Manuscript: 27 August 2007

Follow the following three steps:

1. Manuscript Preparation

All papers should be formatted following the IEEE double-column standard format. The paper page limit is 6 pages including text, figures, tables and references. The font size of 10pt should be used. The IEEE Microsoft Word and LaTEX sample files can be found here. All papers should be in PDF format. Postscript and Microsoft Word files should be converted to PDF before uploading. Please proof-read and check the layout of the manuscript before proceeding to the next step.

2. Checking that Your Manuscript Complies with IEEE Xplore PDF Specifcations Using IEEE PDF Express

Final PDF files have to comply with the IEEE Xplore PDF requirements. You need to use IEEE PDF eXpress to submit your own PDF for compatibility testing.

Note that you can also use IEEE PDF eXpress to convert your paper into a compatible PDF file. If you choose not to use IEEE PDF eXpress to convert your paper to PDF, you can use the job options file to set Adobe Distiller to the correct requirements. You may also try other conversion programs such as CutePDF.

Even if you choose not to use IEEE PDF eXpress to convert your paper to PDF, you still need to use IEEE PDF eXpress to verify that your paper meets the IEEE Xplore PDF requirements.

Only go to the next step if your paper passes this compatibility test. Papers failing to meet the IEEE Xplore PDF specifications will not be included on IEEE Xplore.

3. Uploading of Your Final Manuscript on EDAS

Upload your final paper that passed the IEEE PDF eXpress compatibility test in the previous step onto EDAS. You can do so by logging into EDAS http://edas.info/ and locating your paper by clicking on "My papers" tab at the top of the screen. Subsequently, click on the "Upload" icon next to your paper to proceed with the paper upload.

IEEE Copyright Transfer Form

Authors need to fill in an IEEE Copyright Transfer Form. An electronic submission of the IEEE Copyright Transfer Form can be made through EDAS. After you upload your final paper on EDAS, proceed to upload your IEEE Copyright Transfer Form by going to "My Papers" tab and clicking on the 'c' icon under the column "Copyright Form" where your paper is located.

The IEEE Copyright Form is required to be signed for each paper for its inclusion on the IEEE Xplore database.

IEEE Copyright Transfer Forms must be completed and submitted by 31 August 2007.

Registration Payment

Author registration payment is required by 31 August 2007. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference. Unregistered papers will not be included in the Conference Proceedings and on IEEE Xplore. Please note that this is a hard deadline imposed by the publication process.
