Manuscript Preparation
All papers should be formatted following the IEEE double-column standard format. The paper page limit is 6 pages including text, figures, tables and references. The font size of 10pt should be used. The IEEE Microsoft Word and LaTEX sample files can be found here. All papers should be submitted in PDF format. Postscript and Microsoft Word files should be converted to PDF before submission.
Submission Instructions
The EDAS system http://www.edas.info/ is used for paper submissions. If you do not have an EDAS account, you will need to create one.
To submit the paper you need to follow the following steps:
For help with EDAS please contact the EDAS Administrator.
Only original full papers should be submitted to ISCIT 2007. All paper submissions will be reviewed by at least three experts and author(s) will receive their paper reviews. At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference.
Accepted Papers
Authors of accepted papers will need to fill in an IEEE Copyright Transfer Form. An electronic submission of the IEEE Copyright Transfer Form can be made through EDAS. After you upload your final paper on EDAS, proceed to upload your IEEE Copyright Transfer Form by going to "My Papers" tab and clicking on the 'c' icon under the column "Copyright Form" where your paper is located.
Final PDF files will need to comply with the IEEE Xplore requirements. An author's guide to creating PDF files for IEEE Xplore can be found here. Instructions for authors to check that their camera-ready papers comply with these requirements will be provided on this webpage.
Best Conference Papers Awards
All accepted and registered papers will be considered for the Best Conference Paper Award of A$1000.
In addition, the conference offers two Best Student Paper Awards of A$300 each. To be considered for a Best Student Paper Award, the first author of an accepted and registered paper has to be a student. If you wish to be considered for the Best Student Paper Award, you must indicate this on the registration form with the paper ID. You must also provide a Student Status Certificate in English signed by the Department Head at your institution as part of the registration process.
Note that there is no separate submission stream for student papers on EDAS. The registration process is used to indicate if an author wishes to be considered for the Best Student Paper Award.
