STUDENT TRAVEL GRANTS

The conference organisers are pleased to offer financial aid to students to attend ISCIT 2007. Two types of travel grants are offered:

Type 1 Grants: 2 grants of A$500 each. Type 1 grants are open to students from around the world. To be eligible the applicant must however:

• be a student member of IEEE, ECTI or IEICE
• reside outside of Sydney
• have a paper accepted at the conference and be the presenter of the paper

Type 2 Grants: 5 grants of A$200 each. To be eligible the applicant must:

• be a PhD student at an Australian university
• reside outside of Sydney
• have a paper accepted at the conference and be the presenter of the paper

Please submit one application only. Application forms are available here. Submit your application by e-mail (in pdf format) to: iscit2007@elec.uow.edu.au or by fax to the ISCIT 2007 Organizing Committee on: +61 2 4221 4464. The deadline for application submission is 30 June 2007. The submissions will be evaluated by the ISCIT 2007 Organizing Committee and the successful applicants will be notified by e-mail on 7 September 2007.

Student Travel Grants will be paid after the conference and the recipient will be required to provide a travel expense report showing that expenses exceeded the travel grant amount.
