Ty Christopher is the Manager System Development for Integral Energy,
where he is responsible for the planning, power quality and asset
management strategy development for electricity system assets covering
24,000 square kilometres and serving 780,000 customers. Ty has been with
Integral Energy and its predecessor organisations for sixteen years,
working in engineering design, operations and planning roles. Ty
recieved training as a cadet engineer with Illawarra Electricity. and
graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of
Electrical Engineering (Honours) degree, and is nearing completion of a
Master of Business Administration degree. Power quality issues have been
and continue to be a strong focus for System Development, especially
with regard to the management and development of the electricity
network.
