Geoff Trott graduated from the University of Adelaide with a BSc and BE. He then spent four years at the University of Alberta,
Canada, doing a PhD in nonlinear control theory. He took up the offer of a job as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering at Wollongong University College, later to become the University of Wollongong.
His research interests are in computer interfacing, control of the motion of electric wheelchairs, control of robots both stationary
and mobile and design of digital systems. He is also interested in electronics and computers in general.
